As a result of the latest update to FirstAgenda Prepare and as part of our efforts to further enhance security for our users, we now offer 2-factor login via an authenticator app. Additionally, we have adjusted the organization settings, which are now divided into categories, and we are actively working to enable municipalities to receive both open and closed meeting materials from FirstAgenda Prepare meetings through our integration API.
- 2-Factor with Authenticator App: Previously, we offered 2-factor login via SMS code. With the latest update, organizations can now choose whether to use SMS code or an authenticator app for 2-factor login. Settings can be configured at the organization level, and users will then be required to use 2-factor authentication when logging in with a username and password. This requirement does not apply if users log in via AD. Once 2-factor authentication via authenticator app is activated, users will encounter a setup menu at login. Users must complete the setup themselves, and we have created a series of guides available at the following link: Get help with the authenticator app.
- Separation of Organization Settings: In the Organization Settings section of user administration, we have added a dropdown menu under "Settings" with the categories Organization, Login, and Support. This makes it easier to navigate the settings and find relevant information.
- Working on an Archiving Task: We are working on expanding our integration API so that municipalities will be able to receive both open and closed meeting materials from FirstAgenda Prepare meetings. This is part of our effort to comply with archival legislation and enable the transfer of municipal meeting materials to the National Archives.
