We have been working on a variety of improvements and optimizations lately, including both general performance enhancements and various bug fixes, which together create a smoother Prepare machine.
Below you will find an overview of the different adjustments and fixes that have been made.
Administration
- Deleted invitations are now removed from Prepare and Live
Manually deleted invitations are immediately removed from Prepare – the same applies to automatically deleted invitations. An automatically deleted invitation is one that has not been confirmed or resent within 37 days. The error that resulted in missing deletion of invitations has led to a number of ghost users. Subsequently, a comprehensive deletion of these ghost users has been carried out.
- User administrator can now change usernames
It is now possible for the user administrator to change usernames for users.
- Creation date for a user no longer gets updated
Upon creating a user, a timestamp is set for when the user invitation was created. This field is then locked so that it cannot be changed subsequently.
- Warning when inviting an already created user
If a user already exists with the email entered during invitation creation, a clear warning will appear indicating that a user with this email already exists.
AD Users
- AD users are now directed to internal AD login page
In some cases, AD users might have encountered an error message after entering their AD email address in the creation flow. This issue has been rectified so that AD users will now be redirected to their internal AD login page.
- AD users no longer receive "Change Password" emails
Some of the AD users who have been migrated from Prepare to the new user administration system received an email about changing their password. This issue has now been fixed, so AD users will no longer receive such emails.
General Optimizations & Bug Fixes
- Performance Optimizations
We have delved into the core and made a range of adjustments. These adjustments not only strengthen the solution's performance but also contribute to creating a more stable solution.
- Links in emails now hit the mark
Some users may have experienced landing on the front page of the organization when clicking into a specific meeting via an email link. This issue has now been fixed so that users will land directly on the meeting that the link in the email refers to.
- Language on meeting creation page
The selected profile language will now also apply to the manual meeting creation page.
- Creation date for a user no longer gets updated
Upon creating a user, a timestamp is set for when the user invitation was created. This field is then locked so that it cannot be changed subsequently.
- Line breaks in comments upon releasing consolidated summary
Line breaks in comments will now also be reflected in the email sent upon releasing the consolidated summary.
- Invitation language selected as DK remains DK
Invitations created with the language setting "Danish" have sometimes been sent in either English or Swedish. This issue has now been resolved, ensuring that the language remains the chosen Danish language setting.
