Through a good collaboration with a blind meeting participant, we have addressed the major challenges encountered with VoiceOver (screen reading) on iPad. We continue to work on making it even better.
VOICEOVER
- Reading of documents:
When a user stops in the middle of reading a document, perhaps to replay a sentence, VoiceOver no longer starts at the top of the page the user was on, but at the text passage the user has reached.
- Overlay with highlighting tools etc. removed
Removing the overlay when VoiceOver is active not only solves the above problem regarding reading documents but also removes a minor annoyance where the "Highlighting Tool" and any shared comment highlights disrupted the reading.
- Translation of Alt texts
Alt texts on icons are now translated into DK, NO, and SE.
