FirstAgenda Live - New Voting Settings

Submitted by Andreas on Thu, 10/03/2024 - 11:27

In the latest version of FirstAgenda Live, we’ve added a new feature that allows you to end a vote without all participants having cast their vote. Additionally, you can now disable/enable the option for meeting participants to abstain from voting. Read more about this and other product updates below.

  • Completed meetings are once again listed under the "Completed meetings" filter
When you sort your meetings in the overview, completed meetings are now listed under the "Completed meetings" filter again.

  • Default setting for "Abstain from voting"
It is now possible to control at the organization level whether the option to abstain from voting should always be available to meeting participants when voting on settings and proposals. As always, the administrator can disable/enable the option to abstain from voting for each vote.

  • Direct display of the voting window for meeting participants
When the administration starts a vote, it is immediately visible to the meeting participants, meaning participants now save a click.

  • End a vote without all participants having voted
By default, a vote cannot be ended unless all meeting participants have cast their vote. However, in some cases, there may be a need to end the vote anyway – for example, if a participant has temporarily left the meeting room. As an administrator, you can now mark the participant as "Not present" during the vote, allowing you to end the vote as usual. It will be noted in the protocol that the person was not present during the vote.

You can read more about what to do if a participant is not present during a vote here.
