What does it mean to be a consent giver?

If multiple people are to participate in the dialogue, the employee who created the dialogue can designate you as a consent giver. This means you need to approve other participants joining the dialogue.

As a consent giver, you will receive a notification when a new participant is added to the dialogue. If you click "Approve," the person will gain access to the dialogue and be able to contribute to it. You can approve from both the smartphone app and by logging into LetDialog from a PC.

How to approve consent from the app

If you have a dialogue where you need to approve consent, you will see the dialogue marked with the text "Consent pending" in the dialogue overview. Clicking on the dialogue will automatically give you the option to approve the consent.

If you choose not to consent to the person participating in the dialogue, then do not approve. Instead, send a message to your contact person/the dialogue manager that you do not want the person to participate in the dialogue.

The new participant will not gain access to the dialogue unless you click "Approve," and they will not be informed that you did not approve.

How to approve consent from the web

Just like in the LetDialog app, you can approve consent when logged into app.letdialog.dk

  • Navigate to the dialogue and click on "Info."

  • Go to "Consent" and click "Approve."
