Note: This product update is for the new version of LetDialog.
In the latest version of LetDialog, we have added a number of improvements. Among other things, the dialog and dialog overview are now updated automatically, and deleted invitations are removed from the list immediately. Read about all the new improvements and bug fixes below:
Improvements
- Real-time updates for new messages: When you are in a dialog or in the dialog overview, these are now updated automatically. This means, for example, that you do not need to leave a dialog and reload the page to read the latest message. The message will instead appear in the dialog in real time.
- The email to which an invitation was sent is now visible to dialog administrators on the dialog’s participant list: When a participant is invited to a dialog, the email of the invited participant will be displayed in the participant list. This allows, for example, the dialog administrator to ensure that the entered email is correct. Only the dialog administrator can see the email.
- Confirmation before removing a dialog participant: Before finally removing a dialog participant, the dialog administrator must now confirm the action. This minimizes the risk of accidentally removing a dialog participant.
- Deleted invitations are removed from the list immediately: Previously, you had to reload the page before a deleted invitation was removed from the list of invitations. This has now been fixed so that deleted invitations are removed from the list immediately.
- The user type Citizen cannot be made an organization administrator: It is no longer possible for a user with the role "Citizen" to be assigned the rights of an Organization Administrator.
Bug Fixes
- Dialog shown repeatedly: Some of you may have experienced that a dialog was shown repeatedly in the device's dialog overview. This has now been fixed so that dialogs are only shown once.
- Error in PDF extraction with identical names: If two participants had exactly the same name in a dialog, an error occurred in the PDF extraction. This error has now been fixed, so it is possible to have the same names without errors in the extraction.
- Hyphen allowed as a symbol in a name: A hyphen is now allowed to be used as a symbol in a name.
- Biometric login expires after 90 days: After 90 days, the biometric login (Touch or FaceID) expires, and you will be asked to log in manually again. A new session will then start, lasting for another 90 days.
NB: This version is available on all platforms: web, iOS, and Android.
