FirstAgenda Live – More control over the speaker list and optimized performance

Submitted by Stine M. P. on Wed, 06/25/2025 - 08:45

This update to FirstAgenda Live offers new speaker list settings, bug fixes, and a range of technical improvements that both enhance security and optimize performance.

New feature: More Speaker List Settings

Administrators can now choose how the speaker list should be handled for meeting participants. It is possible to:

  • Prevent participants from adding themselves to the speaker list, but still allow them to comment on others' contributions.

  • Prevent participants from commenting on others' contributions entirely.

These options provide increased flexibility in conducting meetings and strengthen the meeting chair's control.

Automatic Cleanup of Deactivated Committees

When committees are deactivated in FirstAgenda Prepare, FirstAgenda Live now automatically filters them out – however, this only applies to automatic meeting transfers.

Bug Fixes

  • "No Party" Error on Import: The issue where an extra "No Party" was created during import into new organizations has now been resolved.

  • Increased Security: A security vulnerability related to user rights management has been closed.

Technical Update and Performance Improvements

  • React PDF has been updated and now includes the latest security fixes.

  • Efficient Data Fetching with RTK Query: We have optimized data fetching and caching, which reduces the number of API calls and simplifies our codebase. So far, this optimization applies to the display of user data, but more areas will follow.
