This update of FirstAgenda Live introduces a brand-new big screen view with clearer participant overview, full names, and more transparent vote display. In addition, the release includes a few bug fixes.
Changes and additions to the big screen
- Improved participant overview: Participants are now displayed in a column view grouped by party. This provides a clear overview of who is present and how they vote. (If there are many participants or parties, scrolling will still be available to see them all).
- Full names for meeting participants: Participants are now shown with their full names instead of initials, making it easier for them to find themselves on the big screen.
- Clearer vote display: The image/avatar next to participant names has been removed. Each vote is now marked with an icon and a color matching the chosen vote type, providing a quicker and more intuitive overview.
- Available in both light and dark theme: The new view supports both standard and dark mode on the big screen.
- Settings and proposals removed: To create more space – and because they are not necessary on the big screen – settings and proposals disappear as soon as a vote begins. Participants still see them in their personal standalone view.
- Side menu moved: The menu that was previously on the right has been moved to the left, giving the layout a more natural and harmonious look.
- Vote counting adjusted: The previous donut counter during voting has been removed. Instead, only graphs showing the distribution of votes are displayed until all votes are submitted.
- Logo moved: The organization logo has been relocated and is now placed in the top right corner.
Alongside the new big screen view, this release also includes a couple of bug fixes.
Bug fixes
- Substitute participation was not automatically inherited in the agenda: If a participant reported absence at meeting level and a substitute was called in, the substitute’s participation was not reflected in the agenda items. This has now been fixed.
- Automatic meeting transfer: The automatic transfer of meetings from Prepare to Live is now working again. Please contact our support if you wish to activate it.
