I have an AD-login and can't log in to external organisations

The reason is that your email is reserved for AD login in your AD organization. Therefore, you should use your username, which is not your AD email, to access external organizations.

The situation is that you previously used your AD email as the username in all your organizations. Now, your AD organization has changed the login format to be AD login instead of FirstAgenda Prepare login. This means that you can only use your AD email in your AD organization from now on.

To better understand why you need to use one type of login for AD organizations and another for external organizations, let's explain it differently:

Imagine your FirstAgenda account is a keychain - in this keychain, there are two keys. For technical and security reasons, these two keys grant access to two different things and must not be the same.

In this case, the two keys grant access to two different types of organizations: One key provides access to AD organizations, and the other key provides access to external organizations.

The key for AD organizations cannot be used for external organizations, and vice versa - that's why two different keys are necessary.

In summary: Your username for your AD organization must not be the same as for your external organizations.

If you, as an AD user, receive an invitation to an external organization, you can access it as follows:

When invited to an external organization as an AD user, the process is similar to the regular joining flow, with some important differences.

  • You will initially receive the invitation in your email.

  • You accept the invitation by clicking the 'Accept Invitation' button in the email template.

  • Afterward, you will receive an SMS with a one-time code that you need to enter before proceeding.

Then, there are two scenarios:

  1. You are already logged in with AD login in FirstAgenda Prepare:

    • If you are already logged in with AD login in FirstAgenda Prepare, the system will check if you already have a username.

    • If you already have a username, the username field will be automatically filled, and you just need to enter your password to complete the invitation and access the organization.

      • Note: We are currently experiencing errors with the above, so you may need to manually enter your username.

    • If you don't have a username, you will be prompted to create a username and password to complete the association. It's crucial to remember that the username must not be identical to your AD email.

  2. You are not already logged in with AD login in FirstAgenda Prepare:

    • If you are not logged in with AD in FirstAgenda Prepare, you also need to click the 'Accept Invitation' button in the invitation email. You will then receive a one-time code via SMS that you need to enter. Afterward, you will be directed to your internal login site.

    • Here, you should log in with your internal AD login, and then you will be redirected back to FirstAgenda Prepare. The login proceeds as explained above.

In summary, if you don't already have a username, you need to create one along with a password. It's important to remember that the username must not be identical to your AD email.

If you already have a username, it will automatically be in the username field, and you just need to enter your password. Now, you have access to the external organization.
